• Finally, insert the sensor connector
(H) on the underside of the HmIP-
ESI into the connection port (E) un-
til it audibly clicks into place.
*The circled number on the gas me-
ter indicates the position of the pulse
magnet.

6.2.3.2 Adapter 2 Metrix
To mount the sensor, proceed as fol-
lows:
• Prepare the shaft of the gas meter
for the installation of the adapt-
er as described in your gas meter
manual.
• Feed the plug-connector end of
the connection cable (H) through
the opening in the adapter.
• Pull the cable through until the ES-
GAS-2 electronics unit (G) reaches
the adapter.
• Insert the ES-GAS-2 electronics
unit (G) so the guide ribs fit pre-
cisely in the guide rails of the adap-
ter.
