FOOD CONSERVATION TIPS
1) To avoid bacterial contamination, cooked meat or fish must always be kept on a shelf separate
from those on which the raw meat or fish is kept. Keep raw meat or fish in a container large
enough to collect juices and cover properly. Preferably, it is recommended to place the
container on the lowest shelf.
2) Leave enough space around the food to allow air to circulate inside the unit. Make sure that all
parts of the appliance keep the cool air, avoid overheating, taking care not to block the fresh air
outlets.
3) To prevent the transfer of flavors and to keep from drying out, wrap or cover food separately.
Fruits and vegetables do not need to be wrapped.
4) Always let cooked foods cool before putting them in the refrigerator or the freezer. This will
help maintain the internal temperature of the appliance.
5) To prevent loss of cold air, try to limit the number of times you open the door. We recommend
not opening the door only when necessary.
