Output Limitations
All outputs are SELV in accordance with 60950-1.
12 and 24V outputs are ES1 in accordance with 62368-1.
48V output is ES2 in accordance with 62368-1
Series Connection
IEC/EN 62368-1 and 60950-1: Series connection of Channel 1 is permitted however a maximum limit of 2 units must
not be exceeded.
2x 12V units in series are considered ES1 for 62368-1 and SELV for 60950-1
2x 24V units in series are considered ES2 for 62368-1 and non-SELV for 60950-1
2x 48V units in series are considered ES3 for 62368-1 and non-SELV for 60950-1
Series connection is not permitted for DC Input or Class II products.
IEC/EN 60601-1: Series connection is not permitted and must not be used for medical applications.
Capacitive Loads
These products are designed for use with capacitive loads up to the value shown in the Table below. Applications
where a discharged capacitor is switched onto the power supply output creates additional loading for which a non-
standard product may be required if the peak current exceeds the value shown in the Table below. Consult factory
for details.
