n Use the mixing blade (c3).
n You can mix up to 2 kg of light dough (sponge cake, shortcrust pastry, fruit cake, biscuit dough).
Add dry fruits, chocolate chips, etc. at speed 1.
You can also use the mixing blade to prepare mashed or purée potatoes up to speed 3.
n Never use the mixing blade (c3) to knead heavy dough.
n Use the balloon whisk (c4).
n You can prepare mayonnaise, aioli, whisked egg whites (up to 10 egg whites), whipped cream (up to
500 ml), meringues.
n Never use the balloon whisk (c4) to knead heavy dough or to mix light dough.
Programme an operating time as indicated under the TIMER function or start at once by turning the speed
control (a1) to the position required for the recipe.
n The appliance will start at once.
n During preparation, you can add ingredients through the opening in the cover (b2).
n To stop the appliance, turn the knob (a1) back to 0 or wait for the appliance to stop automatically if you
have programmed the TIMER.
n
n Press the button (a3), located on the right of the appliance to release the multifunction head (a4) and
raise it to a vertical position.
n Remove the cover (b2).
n Release the accessory (c2), (c3) or (c4) from the multifunction head by pulling the accessory while
turning it to the rear.
n Remove the blade (c1) if it is in place by turning it anticlockwise.
n You can now remove your bowl.
n Depending on the nature of the ingredients, the blender (d) can be used to prepare up to 1.5 litre of thick
mixture and 1.25 litre of liquid preparations.
n Stainless steel or glass blender (d).
n Assemble the blade assembly (d1) to the seal (d2) and lock it with a quarter turn clockwise into the
bottom of the jug (d3) (the jug must be upright). (Fig. 2a)
n Place the food in the blender, lock the lid (d4) and fit the measuring cup (d5).
n Press the button (a3), located on the right of the appliance to release the multifunction head (a4) and
raise it to a
n Fit the bowl (b1) onto the appliance, the handle facing you , and turn it slightly to the left, until it locks in
place .
n Take the cover (b2) with your left hand, slide it into the rails on the front and the rear of the head (a4) until
it locks in place.
n Press the button (a3), located on the right of the appliance to release the multifunction head (a4), lower
it and press it
n Release and remove the cover (a6) from the outlet (a5) by turning it anti-clockwise.
n Lock the blender (d) on the outlet (a5) by turning it clockwise. (Fig. 2c)
