ODOR CONTROL (HFD-112, HHT-217 AND HHT-219 ONLY)
Some air purifiers (model HFD-112, HHT-217 and HHT-219) include special odor reducing
pre-filters.
In order to enjoy the benefits of enhanced odor control, ensure that the Odor-Lock
are installed in the unit. (See "Installing The Odor-Lock
For optimal performance, the filters are wrapped in plastic to keep them fresh. If you choose to use the
Odor-Lock
pre-filters, replacement timing will be approximately every 3 months, depending on use.

SET-UP (ALL MODELS)
• Select a firm, level and flat location. For proper air flow, locate the unit at least 3 feet (1 M) from the
wall or furniture.
• Ensure the exit grill faces away from the closest wall or furniture.
• Ensure no grilles are blocked.
• Plug into a grounded 120V outlet. See IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.

• Press the power (

• To change air cleaning power setting, press the up (

current setting: Low (
• For maximum cleaning power, set the unit to operate at the
High ( ) setting. For quieter settings, or during sleep,
set the unit to Medium (

Timer Operation
Once the air purifier is turned on, you can program it to turn off
automatically after a set amount of time.
• Press the Timer button (
"8" (Fig. 3).
• Press the timer plus (
increase or decrease the desired number of hours (1 to 18).
The selected number will flash for a few seconds – once it stops
flashing, the air purifier is in Timer mode and will automatically
shut off after the specified amount of time.
(Example: If you want the unit to turn off in 6 hours, touch the
Timer button, then press the timer minus (
number "6" is displayed.)
• To turn the Timer mode off, press the Timer button twice.
