cord, keep in a dry place, free from excessive
vibration and store so as to

CAUTION
If you use this heater in conjunction with a
thermal control, a program controller, a timer
or any other device that switches the heater on
automatically, remember to observe all safety
warnings at all times. The fireplace heater has
safety overheat protection. If the overheat pro-
tection trips, switch off all switch buttons and
wait approximately 5 -10 minutes. It should
reset automatically once the unit cools down.

This luminaire has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other) as a feature to reduce
the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Never use with an extension cord unless plug
can be fully inserted. Do not alter the plug.

LIGHTED LAMP IS HOT!
1. Turn off and unplug the power cord before
attempting any maintenance or cleaning.
Allow at least 10 minutes to cool before
replacing bulbs.
2. Bulb(s) get HOT quickly! Contact only switch/
plug when turning on.
3. Do not touch HOT lens, guard or enclosure.
4. Do not remain in light if skin feels warm.
5. Do not look directly at the lighted bulb(s).
6. Keep lamp away from material that
may burn.
7. Use only JC type Max 10W watt 12V
halogen bulb(s).
8. Do not touch the bulb(s) at any time. Use
a soft cloth. Oil from skin may damage the
bulb(s).
9. Do not operate the lamp with a missing or
damaged lens, lens acts as guard/shield and
UV light filter.
10. This lamp is intended for surface mounted
only and to be used as an under cabinet light.
