Installation Procedure
1. Remove hardware kit from bin.
• Legs
• Pre-assembled snout door assembly
• Primer
• Silicone
• Gasket (poly liners only)
• Snout Retention Channel (LB1448/LB1460/
LB1760 Only)
2. Remove bin top from bin (Do not remove the H frame
from panel).
3. Lay bin on back, being careful to protect finish, and
remove bolts holding skid to bin.
4. Screw legs into tapped holes in bin bottom and tighten
to seat legs against bottom. Do not over tighten or
remove the channels which are required as structural
support.
5. Set bin upright.
6. Reinstall top onto bin.
7. Remove protective paper from stainless steel exterior.
8. Move bin to permanent location.
9. Adjust "foot" at bottom of each leg to level bin in both
directions.
10. When provided install gasket on bin.
11. Mount ice machine(s) on bin in accordance with ice
machine instructions.
12. Connect drain line to 1" FPT female fitting located in
bottom of bin.
NOTE: DO NOT twist or turn factory installed drain. If the seal
is broken during installation use NSF approved silicone to
re-seal before using bin (allow silicone to dry for full 24 hours
before using).
13. Using the primer provided, clean the area around the
opening and the flat surface of the snout.
14. LB0760 Only - all other models proceed to next step.
A. Place the top channel of the snout in the opening of
the bin and push up to secure in place.
B. Drop the bottom channel of the snout into the
opening.
C. Using the silicone provided, apply a generous
amount around the inside AND outside perimeter of
the snout.
D. Smooth the silicone edge to create a thorough seal.

15. LB1448/LB1460/LB1760 Only:
A. Install snout retention channel.
B. Locate the snout retention channel and seat onto
the top channel of the snout and center. If retention
channels is too tight to place in snout channel from
above, slide one side of the channel in from either
end and walk channel down until centered and
seated.
C. Place the top channel of the snout (with the snout
retention channel installed) in the opening of the
bin and push up to secure in place.

D. Drop the bottom channel of the snout into the
opening while applying force upwards to fully seat
the upper snout channel. Once bottom channel is
properly seated, apply even force across the top of
the retention channel and snout downwards to fully
seat snout into its permanent position.
E.
Using only the silicone provided (NSF 51 Certified
DOWSIL 732), apply a generous amount around
the inside AND outside perimeter of the snout and
snout retention channel.
F.
Smooth the silicone edge to create a thorough seal.
Allow silicone to dry for a full 24 hours before using the bin.
An insufficient seal will result in leaking around the snout.
