1 Description and Intended Purpose
These instructions are for the user. Please keep these instructions.
The term device is used throughout these instructions for use to refer to Silcare Walk Cushion and
Locking Liner unless otherwise stated.
Make sure that you understand all instructions for use, drawing particular attention to all
maintenance and safety information sections.
Application
This device is an interface component for use only as part of a lower limb prosthesis.
Intended for single user.
The device provides a cushioned socket interface and is manufactured from biocompatible materials.
It is intended for a low to moderate activity user.
Note that some high activity users with poor residual limb tissue coverage and/or high sensitivity
may prefer the comfort of the softer silicone Silcare Walk liner to the firmer Silcare Active
liner. Conversely, some low activity users with good residual limb tissue coverage and/or low
sensitivity may prefer the security of the firmer Silcare Active liner to the softer Silcare Walk liner.
Please read these instructions carefully before fitting the device.
