Important notes
Emergency release after a power cut.
If the power supply is interrupted the
heater plate can be lifted off the roller by
pulling the heater plate release mechan-
ism handle upwards, to prevent ironing or
the roller cover from being singed.
Switch the machine off.
Lift the heater plate release mechanism
handle upwards. The heater plate lifts
back from the roller.
After the power supply is restored:
Switch the machine on.
Press the start button. The heater plate
makes contact and the roller rotates.
Important notes
There should only be residual moisture
content of max. 25 % in the material to be
ironed.
For the most economical operation sort
the ironing according to the heat range
needed.
First iron:
" " - perlon, nylon, etc.
then
"
" - wool and silk,
and finally
"
" - cotton and linen.
If it is necessary to go back to a lower tem-
perature allow sufficient time for the
heater plate to cool down and the "Heat-
ing" light to come on again.
It is recommended that starched items are
ironed last to avoid any starch deposits af-
fecting the finish of other work.
Do not restrict ironing of smaller articles to
any one part of the roller. Make use of the
whole roller width.
This way an equal amount of heat is ob-
tained from the heater plate and energy is
saved. The roller padding is also pro-
tected from uneven use.
