E - PRE RODAGE ET RODAGE DU
MOTEUR
Le prérodage du moteur est une opération
extrêmement importante qui a deux buts :

voir si le moteur fonctionne bien à tous les
régimes,

faire chauffer suffisamment le moteur pour
que tous ses éléments se mettent en place
car, pendant ce prérodage, ils prennent
librement leurs différents coefficients de
dilatation et s'ajustent.
TRES IMPORTANT : HUILE
L'huile de semi-synthèse Yacco MVX500 ou
100% synthèse MINERVA 2TSR est recomman-
dée par Adventure.
IL EST IMPÉRATIF DE RESPECTER LE POURCENTAGE

D HUILE POUR LE PRÉRODAGE
un réservoir complet à 4 %, puis 3 % et 2 %.

Attention : mélange essence/huile
Ne pas passer d'un mélange huile de synthèse
à un mélange huile minérale. L'inverse est
cependant possible.

E - PRE-RUNNING IN AND
RUNNING IN
Pre-running in is very important and has
two aims:
 to check that the engine works well at all
engine speeds ;
to heat the engine enough so that all the

parts will adjust themselves and take
their definitive place as they bed in.
MOST IMPORTANT : OIL MIXTURE
Adventure recommend 1/2 synthetic oil
YACCO MVX500 or 100% synthetic
MINERVA 2TSR.
IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT THE
RE IS CORRECT DURING THE PRE
(see table below), i.e. a full tank at 4 %,
then 3 % and finally 2 % oil mixture.

on the maintenance manual.

Do not use Out Board 2-stroke oil as used
in WATER cooled engines.
Warning : oil/fuel mixture
Under no circumstances switch from a
synthetic oil to a mineral oil mixture. The
reverse is however possible.
