6. STOPPING THE ENGINE
1. Turn engine switch to "STOP".
2. Turn fuel cock lever
to "OFF".
7. CONNECTION AND STARTING THE PUMP
1. Connect the supplied 2 x 2" hose connection Ø 50 mm to the inlet (no. 14) and
outlet (no. 15) of the water pump.
2. Mount the water hose Ø 50 mm female (not supplied) to the Ø 50 mm hose
connection on the suction side (no. 14) of the pump and on the supplied dirty
water filter. Fix with the 2 supplied hose clamps.
3. Plunge the hose with water filter under the water level. Poor water in the pump
by unscrewing the black filler cap (no. 17) on the pump and fill with water.
4. Connect a 2"hose to the outlet of the pump (don't use a thin hose because of
the high pressure in the pump). The length of the water hose should not
exceed 50 metres.
5. Start the engine according to chapter 4. "Starting the engine".
6. Wenn the engine is running, water will be sucked in. After about 10 seconds
the water will be pumped normally. If water can not be pumped 2 minutes later,
check the water tightness of the inlet connection and sucking height.
7. Wenn you turn the fuel cock lever (no. 4) to the right, the machine will pump
faster. Wenn you turn the fuel cock lever (no. 4) to the left, the machine will
pump slower.
