The feeding pipes have to be rinsed carefully before the installation of the device so that there won’t remain shavings, sealing or hemp residues, or other impurities inside the pipes. Through pipes not thoroughly rinsed or through the general water network, in the device foreign bodies can enter that could damage gaskets /o-ring.

If the supply is not fluid unscrew the screws that fasten the shower head and remove it from the wall so to unscrewthehosefromthesupplyjoint.Identifythefiltergasketandthesupplyreducerbetweenthecap ofthehoseandthesupplyconnection.Removetheclogswithrunningwater(donotusedetergents).If they are damaged they can be replaced and then all can be reassembled in the opposite sequence.

Rinsewithwater(preferablydeionisedwater)anddry.Deionisedwaterreducestheriskofwaterstaining marks. Proprietary products are available from specialists finishing companies. Never allow mortar removers or diluted hydrochloric acid to be used on stainless steel.
