3. Installation
3.1. Preparing to install
CAUTION!
Risk of injury through improper handling!
Note the size and weight of the product.

At least two people must be used to install the
roller shutter box.
NOTE!
Risk of physical damage through improper
installation!
•
Ensure that no objects (e.g. nails, sockets,
cables, etc.) can prevent installation of or
damage to the roller shutter box.
•
Ensure that the installation foundation consists
of material suitable for attachment.

The relevant documentation must be obser-
ved for electrical installation, commissioning
and maintenance.

Ensure that the roller shutter box supplied is
suitable for the installation circumstances.
3.2. Connecting the window and roller shutter box

Ensure that the clip profile (GRP profile)

finishes flush with the outer edge (x) of the
window.

A compression strip (optional) can be fitted
under the clip profile to achieve a higher level
of tightness.
Screw the clip profile onto the top of the

window using suitable screws. Make sure
that the screws penetrate the steel core of
the window.
Make sure that the clip profile is mounted level,
y
both in the longitudinal direction and in the
width.
There are two types of installation for screwing
the roller shutter box to the window.
Version 1: Attaching the roller shutter box to
the window.
Version 2: Attaching the window to the roller
shutter box.
