4. Cable routing for beds with a D-Box at the head end:
Attention!
Please note: Gather the remaining cable together to avoid the risk of tripping and
cable damage.
6.6 Securing the sensor mat
The sensor mat is fastened with the lateral Velcro fasteners. These are joined together under
the bed's patient surface. wissner-bosserhoff recommends that you fasten it to the seat secti-
on. Alternatively, you can also put the sensor mat on the lower third of the backrest. With the
Easy-Clean patient surface, attachment is only possible on the seat section.
Recommended fastening:
Place the mat on the seat section. Fasten
with Velcro fasteners.
Fasten any excess length of the sensor mat cable below the seat section with a
cable tie.
Caution!
The sensor mats must not be bent, as this may stop them from functioning. For this
reason, they may not be positioned in the transition zone between the seat section
and backrest, since this would inevitably cause them to fold when the backrest is
raised.
Run the nurse call cable along the power cable and at-
tach it to the holder in front of the cable conduit, which
contains the power cable. Then run the nurse call cable
through the cable conduit and below or above the D-Box.
Use a cable clip to attach the cable. Continue running it
alongside the power cable and tie it to the power cable at
the point where it starts to coil.
Alternative fastening:
Place it on the lower third of the back-
rest. Fasten with Velcro fasteners.
