6. Start-up

6.1 Delivery

The SafeSense Bed-Exit System is generally delivered as individual components and is as-

sembled by specialists on site.
• Please check whether all components have been delivered by consulting the delivery
papers.
• Write down potential defects or damage on the delivery note.
• Inform your service partner immediately about potential transport damage or defects. The
address and phone number are noted on the last page of this manual.
6.2 Installing on a nursing home bed with motor „Duomat 9"
Use the handset to position the bed at a comfortable working height and pull the power plug.

Attach the retaining plate to
the bed exit box and tighten
the screws. The wide holding
tab should point down towards
the underbed light.
Use a screwdriver to remove
the protective motor cap. (The-
re is one screw on the left side
and one on the right)
Disconnect the handset (third
plug from the left) and connect
the bed exit box.
