6.3 Installation on a nursing home bed with motor „Quadromat 7"
The SafeSense system is quick and easy to install. To do so, please follow the steps below:

Clip the Bed-Exit Box into the holder. The display has
to point upwards when you do this. The box will sit se-
curely once it has audibly slotted into place. For a bed
with a battery, the box is screwed to the battery and
slotted together with it. (see chapter 6.3)
Disconnect the bed from po-
wer supply. Use a screwdri-
ver to remove the drive cap.
There is one screw on the
left side and one on the right
side. Remove the handset
from the third socket from
the right.
Attach the retaining plate for
the motor and tighten the
screws (position the plate so
that the holding tabs are on
the top and on the bottom)
Connect the hand switch to
the bed-exit box and screw
on the ignition relief as
shown in the illustration.
