5.1 Changing the filter cartridge

When changing the filter you may come in con-
tact with hazardous substances accumulated
in the filter. Use necessary Personal Protective
Equipment when replacing the filter cartridges.
See Figure 3. The filter cartridge and the two gas-
kets are disposable and are to be thrown away after
use. Considering the material being collected, dis-
pose of the filter in accordance with all applicable loc-
al guidelines, laws or regulations. The life of the fil-
ter cartridge varies greatly depending on what type of
pollutants are collected. Regularly monitor the extrac-
tion capacity at the source and change the filter cart-
ridge when the extraction capacity is poor.

Ensure that the filter stays in place as the gaskets
are released.

Release both rubber gaskets by rolling them onto
the blue end caps. If installed horizontally, care-
fully loosen the straps until the filter easily can be
removed

Remove the two used rubber gaskets from the
console. Leave the rubber gasket for recycling if
your local and relevant regulations for the sub-
stances allow it.

Chapter 4 Mounting
Verify that the filter is correctly mounted,
sealed and that there are no visible leaks. The
filter is marked with arrows that must be direc-
ted in the direction of the airflow.

6.1 Ordering spare parts

• Detail number and name of the spare part (see

• Quantity of the parts required.

7 Recycling
The product has been designed for component mater-
ials to be recycled. Different material types must be
handled according to relevant local regulations. Con-
tact the distributor or Nederman if uncertainties arise
when scrapping the product at the end of its service
life.
