Plug in the unit and carry out a function test. Allow water to flow into the tank. The lifting unit
turns on as soon as the electrical power supply is established and the water level in the tank is

Maintenance
ATTENTION!
Before carrying out any maintenance work on the unit, all power lines should be disconnected from
the mains and care should be taken that the unit cannot be inadvertently switched back on. Check the
pressure line for damage.
To avoid danger if the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similarly qualified person.
Change the active charcoal filter:
/
At least once a year.
/
In case of unpleasant odours.
/
Where water has discharged through the filter.
In case of decreasing pump performance remove possible deposits and other substances from the
tank.
If necessary, clean the inlet screen of the pump. To do so, loosen the screen by turning the bayonet
lock and remove it. After cleaning, place the screen with o-ring on the pump and lock it in place by
turning it (see page 42, figure 7).
In addition, observe the specifications in DIN EN 12056-4. In case of problems, please contact your
CONEL supplier.
We recommend regular maintenance in accordance with DIN EN 12056-4, DIN EN 12050-3, and
DIN 1986/100 (by a qualified specialist) to ensure the long-term operational safety of your system.
Purpose
Maintenance serves to care for a system and to extend it's service life. The aim of maintenance is to
prevent malfunctions, minimise wear and tear, and detect as far as possible, wear at an early stage,
in order to avoid unplanned downtimes, an operational standstill, or cost-intensive consequential
damage to a system.
