SPAZZOLE LATERALI
La funzione delle spazzole laterali è quella di pulire lo sporco negli angoli e lungo i
bordi e convogliarlo sulla scia della spazzola centrale.
Regolazione spazzole laterali
Le spazzole laterali devono lasciare a terra una traccia " T " come da disegno (Fig. 9).
Per ottenere ciò occorre registrare l'altezza da terra man mano che si consumano le
setole della spazzola. Agire nel seguente modo:
-
allentare il controdado 2 (fig.9)
-
ruotare il pomello 1 in senso antiorario fino a quando la traccia della spaz-
zola laterale risulta come riportato in fig. 9;
-
riavvitare il controdado 2
-
dopo detta operazione controllare che le spazzole funzionino correttamen-
te lasciando una traccia come da Fig. 9.
Sostituzione spazzole laterali
-
Svitare le 3 viti 1 (Fig. 10) e la spazzola si stacca dal suo supporto.
-
Dopo aver montato la nuova spazzola, eseguire nuovamente le operazioni
di regolazione.
Attenzione!
La spazzola laterale, quando la motoscopa è a riposo, deve
essere sempre sollevata da terra onde evitare deformazioni
(piegatura alle setole della spazzola).

The side brushes sweep dirt from the edges of floors and from corners, and direct it to
the centre of the sweeper where it can be picked up by the main brush.
Adjusting the side brushes
Check that the shapes of the traces "T" left by the side brushes are as shown in fig.9.
As the bristles of the side brushes wear down, adjust the height of the brushes from
the floor to maintain these traces.
Proceed as follows to adjust the side brushes:

Slacken off nut 2, fig.9

Turn the knob 1 anticlockwise until the trace left by the side brush is as
shown in fig.9.

Retighten the nut 2.

Run the brushes and check that the traces they leave are as shown in fig. 9.
Replacing the side brushes

Remove the three bolts 1, fig. 10 which fix the brush to the hub, and remove
the old brush.

Fit a new brush and adjust for height.
Warning!
when the motor-sweeper is at rest, the side brush must always
be lifted above the ground to avoid deformations (bending of
the brush's bristles).
