Making the polarized plug
connections
CAUTION: Before starting the installation, disconnect the
power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse
at the fuse box. Turning power off using the fan switch is not
sufficient to prevent electric shock.
Remove the three light kit mounting screws (LL) from
the light kit (J) and keep these screws.
While holding the light kit (J) under your fan motor
assembly (G), locate two single white and blue wires
in the switch housing labeled "FOR LIGHT". Make the
polarized plug connections:
- White to white
- Blue to black
Carefully push all wires back into the switch housing.
Install the light kit assembly (J) onto the switch
housing with the four light kit mounting screws (LL)
provided. Be sure to tighten all screws.

Installing the fan without the light kit
(Optional)
Your fan is designed with a light kit (J). If you intend
to install the fan without the light, attach the switch
housing cover (NN) to the switch housing located at
the bottom of the motor assembly (G) with the light
kit mounting screws (LL) provided.

Mounting the glass shades and
installing the light bulbs
Mount the glass shades (K) to the light sockets by
partially unscrewing the three thumbscrews (DD) on
each glass holder, inserting the glass shades (K), and
gently tightening the thumbscrews (DD) by hand and
evening to the glass shades (K). Do not overtighten.
Install three 60 Watt medium base bulbs (not
included).
