Solids Handling Pump
Installation & Maintenance Instructions
Congratulations on your purchase of your new Aquascape™ Aqua-
Force™ Pump! You are the owner of one of the best magnetically
driven pumps on the market today. Because of its solids handling
capabilities, the Aquascape™ AquaForce™ Pump is designed spe-
cifically for your water garden. It is capable of transporting solids up
to 1/4" (7mm) from your pond to a waterfall, or preferably, a filtration
device such as the Aquascape™ UltraKlean™ Pressure Filter.
1) electrical Safety Aquascape™ AquaForce™ Pump
• Inspect your Aquascape™ AquaForce™ Pump upon arrival for any obvious signs of dam-
age. If damage is found, return the unit to where it was purchased for an exchange.
• Always unplug the Aquascape™ AquaForce™ Pump electrical supply before any routine
maintenance.
• Do not operate Aquascape™ AquaForce™ Pump with a damaged cord or plug
• Any pond related electrical equipment requires a GFI protected circuit. Always have a
qualified electrician install any electrical outlets. Test your GFI outlet on a regular basis.
• Do not use cord to pull plug from outlet. Grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
• The Aquascape™ AquaForce™ Pump comes equipped with a 25' power cord. This should
be enough to reach an outlet close to your pond. Do not splice or remove the pump cord as
this will void any warranty.
• During winter, if you are not using the pump as a deicer, remove the pump from the pond
and place in a bucket of pond water in a frost-free location.
• The Aquascape™ AquaForce™ Pump has been designed to operate submersed in pond
water. DO NOT OPERATE DRY!
• KEEP THIS MANUAL—DO NOT THROW AWAY!
