Trouble-shooting
Symptom
Operating
buttons does not
work .
The product runs
up and down
unevenly .
The product
cannot be moved
sideways .
Safety system
does not work .
Contact Pressalit or your dealer if the problem cannot be remedied . Do not
attempt to repair the product yourself, as this will invalidate the guarantee .
Cause
Fault in power
supply .
The inner
square tubes
are not properly
lubricated .
Hoses or cables
may be stuck .
The locking
mechanism may
be stuck .
Faulty switches .
Action
Check that all wires and plugs are
intact and correctly connected .
Contact Pressalit A/S or your local
dealer .
Oil the inner square tubes as
described under "Maintenance" .
Remove the cover(s) and check if
anything is jammed .
Check the lock and the cable as
described under "Maintenance" .
Check whether one or more of the
safety system contacts is stuck,
and if so, try to untangle it . If the
problem cannot be fixed, replace
the contact(s) . The safety system
will only work when current can
be detected . Remember to reset
as described under "Resetting the
wash basin lifter" .
