Where to use this winch
Ergonomic adjusting, supporting and levelling of containers to the
nearest millimeter with manually operated levelling devices in different
variations.
– Appropriate mounting on containers according to ISO 668 with corner
fittings according to ISO 1161.
At a variant connection consider the drawing in the annex!
– Operate the equipment in accordance with the information in these
operating instructions.
– Only use to lift and lower freely-movable loads.
– Supports must only be loaded in pressure.
– Only use when in perfect working order.
– Only allow to be operated by personnel instructed on how to do so.
safety-conscious work
– First read the operating instructions.
– Always be conscious of safety and hazards when working.
– Ensure stability.
– Observe lifting device and load during all movements.
– Immediately report any damage or defects to the person in charge.
– Repair equipment first before continuing work!
– Do not leave the load suspended without supervision or secure dan-
ger area against unauthorised access.
– Transport device protected against impacts and shocks, falling over
or toppling.
the following are not allowed:
– Overload (–> technical data, type plate, payload plate)
– Mechanical propulsion.
– Impacts, blows.
– carriage persons.
– Remaining in or on the lifted load if it is lifted more than
400 mm from the ground.
Exception: When an additional safety device is used!
– people are not allowed to stand under the raised load without additio-
nal support.
Use exclusions
– Not suitable for permanent operation and vibration stress.
– Not approved for use as builders' hoist (DGUV-R 100-500-2.10).
– Not approved for use in explosive areas/environments.
– Not suitable for aggressive environments.
– Not suitable for lifting hazardous loads.
organisational measures
– Ensure that these operating instructions are always at hand.
– Ensure that only trained personnel work with the equipment .
– Check at regular intervals whether it is being used in a safety and hazard
conscious manner.
– Ensure that all safety and warning notices on the equipment remain
on the device and are kept in legible condition.
– Store clean, dry and protected.
– Use only under normal lighting conditions!
installation, service and repair
Only by specialist personnel!
Only use original spare parts for repairs.
Do not modify or alter safety-relevant parts!
Additional attachments must not impact safety.
further regulations to be observed are
– German Industrial Health and Safety Ordinance (BetrSichV).
– Country-specific regulations.
– German Accident prevention regulations (DGUV-V 54).

4. general
Ergonomic adjusting, supporting and levelling of containers to the
nearest millimeter with manually operated levelling devices in different
variations.
The self-locking trapezoid spindle and the maintenance-free bevel
gears enable easy and reliable operation.
The spindle support complies with the accident-prevention rule DGUV-V 54.
5. constrUction / fUnction
All leveling supports of type 8251/2724 include a shaped piece with a
locking screw in the lower area defined for corner fittings in accordance
with ISO 1160 for lifting loads. This ensures a form- and force-fitting
connection wiht ISO corner of the container. Therefore use the device
only for leveling standard containers according to ISO 668 with intefra-
ted corner fittings according to ISO 1160. In the upper area the leveling
support lays on the container wall. Leveling supports may only be
subjected to compression( not tension)!
Special solutions are possible!
The trapezoid spindle is driven by the crank handle across one spur
bevel gearing. This spindle converts the rotation into a longitudinal
motion, due to the stationary nut. To protect from mechanical damages,
the spindle and gear parts are housed in telescopic square tubes, which
additionally provide a high stability.
The spindle supports are fitted with an inclinable base plate.
6. MoUnting
6.1 attachment type 8251
– Set up the leveling support vertically, attach the lower fitting of the
leveling support in the ISO corner of the container and slide it in
(Pic1).
– Turn the locking bolt on the side of the roll
pin by 90°, pull it towards the support and
secure this position wiht the hexagon nut
(Pic.2).
– Before finally tightening the locking screw,
push the leveling support up as far as
possible.
– The lower shaped piece of the leveling
support must touch the corner fitting of the
container with the upper edge.
– Tighten the screw (120Nm) an fix the position of thesupport
– In the upper area, when the load is lifted, the leveling prop is suppor-
ted it wiht the extension arm directly on te container wall.
