22. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Besides the general safety instructions, the fol-
lowing must be observed for safety reasons:
• Never leave the device unattended at the
workplace.
• Use only under supervision of trained
personnel
• Protect from moisture
• Transport and storage only in the supplied
PVC case
• Repairs to the mechanics can only be
carried out by the Freund company
• Secure the device at dangerous places
during all activities
• For safety reasons, the user and the
Seaming Pro must be secured with an ap-
propriate safety rope each time it is used
Attachment of safety rope:
• By means of eyebolt or direct attachment
to the holder of the drilling machine
by loop
• The manufacturer accepts no liability
whatsoever for improper handling. Also
pay attention to the user manual of your

23. GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Attention: When using power-driven machines,
basic safety measures must always be observed
to protect against injury and fire hazards as well
as against electrical voltage. Read and observe
these instructions and the user manual before
using the machine. Keep these safety instructions
in a safe place!
Keep your work area organized: Disorder in the
work area can lead to accidents and restrict your
freedom of movement.
Wear suitable work clothing: Avoid wide clothing
or pieces of jewelry that can easily be caught
by moving parts. Wear safety shoes to prevent
foot injuries when handling work panels. Protect
your hands against cuts with appropriate gloves.
Watch your environment: Do not expose the
machine to rain. Do not use the machine in a wet
environment or near flammable liquids or gases.
Provide good lighting if daylight is not sufficient.
Keep a suitable minimum distance between fixed
parts or stored material and moving parts of the
machine in order to achieve better freedom of
movement.
