19. SEAM INSPECTION

If the seaming result is not correct, the user
switches off the seam machine, checks the seam
and fixes the problem.
When the machine is not in use or stored for a
longer period of time in the PVC case, the tension
lever must be released to reduce the force on
the disc springs.
We recommend performing an annual basic clea-
ning and lubrication of the Seaming Pro. It is
recommended to have this service done by Freund.

20. CUTTING

The Seaming Pro is supplied with cutting rollers
for cutting existing single and double standing
seams. Regardless of whether it is a roof or a
facade.

Please pay attention to this:
The cutting rolls must not be used for cutting
cross seams and ridge ends. When cutting multi-
layer sheets, the cutting rollers may be damaged
(note the allowed sheet thickness on page 27).
During the cutting process, please operate the
unit in 1st gear of the power drill only.
For conversion to the cutting function, all forming
rolls are removed. The 4 rubberized driving rolls
are mounted in rows A and B. The cutting rolls
are mounted in row C. Row D is left free. The large
cutting roll is mounted on the housing side of the
tension lever. The small cutting roll is mounted
on the opposite side.
The screws of the rollers are removed and fixed
with the hexagon socket included in the delivery.
