1. Place a suitable pan or similar vessel with contents on the glass hob (4).
2. Switch on the device using the fi eld
and the fan (3) switches on. The display (G) shows C.
If the control panel is not touched without any settings for around 30 seconds,
a beep sounds and the device automatically switches to stand-by.
3. Start the heating process using the fi eld
the power. The preset 1600 watts are shown on the display.
4. Use the fi elds + and – (F, H) to adjust the power (see the "Overview of Functions"
chapter).
5. Touch the fi eld
on the display.
6. Use the fi elds + and – to adjust the temperature (see the "Overview of Functions"
chapter).
7. During the cooking process, the function which was set last (power or temperature)
is shown on the display. Both the power and the temperature can be adjusted at any
time during the cooking process.
8. Once the cooking process has fi nished, switch the device to stand-by via the fi eld
Please Note: The fan remains active after the device has switched off and after the
timer time has elapsed (see next chapter). This is not a malfunction! The fan switches
off after around 50 seconds.
9. Pull the mains plug out of the plug socket and allow the device to cool down completely.
Setting the Timer Time
In the device a timer can be set from 1 minute to 4 hours:
1. Touch the fi eld
and the preset 10 minutes are shown on the display (G).
2. Use the fi elds + and – (F, H) to adjust the timer time (see the "Overview of Functions"
chapter).
3. The set timer time fl ashes for approx. 3 seconds before the timer starts.
4. During the cooking process, the remaining timer time and the function which was
set last (power or temperature) are shown alternately on the display. If the power
or temperature is adjusted during the cooking process, the timer time automatically
switches off and may need to be readjusted.
5. Once the timer time has elapsed, a beep sounds and the device switches to stand-
by. While the timer time is running, the device can be manually switched to stand-by
at any time via the fi eld
again to switch to temperature mode. The preset 180°C are shown
(I) after starting the heating process. The control lamp
(D).
