Safety Features
•
The device is equipped with an internal timer. Once the timer time which is set has
elapsed, a beep sounds and the device is automatically switched off .
•
The device has overheating protection. If the device gets too hot, it switches off auto-
matically. In this case, allow the device to cool down completely and then switch it on
again (see the "Overview of Functions" and "Use" chapters).
Overview of Functions
•
The operating lamp (C) fl ashes and the display (G) shows C when the device is in
stand-by.
•
The operating lamp is constantly lit and the display shows ON when the device is
switched on.
•
The fi eld
(D) is used to switch the device on and off .
•
The fi eld
(E) is used to switch between the power and temperature modes.
•
The fi elds + / – (F / H) can be used to set either the desired power (in 200-watt incre-
ments from 200 W to 2000 W) or the desired temperature (in 20-degree increments
from 60 to 240°C) as well as the desired timer time (in 1-minute increments from 1
minute to 4 hours).
•
The control lamp
10 minutes are shown on the display as the presetting. After you have set the timer
time you want, wait for around 3 seconds until the indication on the display is lit up
constantly. The timer has been activated.
If the fi elds + / – are pressed for an extended period in the mode for setting the
timer time, the fast increment mode can be activated (10-minute increments).
