Troubleshooting
a) The output value from the sensor is higher than the value detected
with DPD:
The porous membrane is damaged
•
Agents water pollutants interfere with the measurement
•
Wiring damaged
•
pH of the water is lower than 6
•
b) The output value from the sensor is lower than the value detected
with DPD:
Are there any deposits on the porous membrane
•
The working flow is too low
•
There are air bubbles on the porous membrane
•
The presence of surfactants in water
•
pH of the water is higher than 8
•
There is more electrolyte inside the membrane cap
•
The gold electrode is oxidized
•
c) The output value from the sensor is 4mA (0ppm)
In water is present only combined chlorine
•
Content of free chlorine to below the limit of detection
•
The sensor is not properly connected
•
The sensor is faulty
•
d) The output value from the sensor is unstable
There are air bubbles on the membrane
•
The porous membrane is damaged
•
The problem does not depend on the sensor
