3. Explanation
1. Loudspeaker: emits a high frequency or ultrasonic sound to scare off pests and
animals.
2. PIR movement detector: generates a signal to trigger the output circuit when the
passive infrared movement sensor detects the movement of an interloper or
animals within the detection range. It will be reset for the next detection.
3. Function selector switch
Three selectable functions: "M/S / CON / OFF"
"OFF" - switches off the unit
"CON" - continuous emission if the AC adaptor or if battery operation is used.
The electronic switches to M/S automatically, if battery operation is used for
saving energy.
„M/S"- intermittend emmission(5 Sekunden „ON") and after detecting with PIR
4. Frequency selector switch:
Three frequency ranges, "H / M / L " can be selected
"H" - high frequency sound appr. 40 kHz
"M" - medium frequency sound appr. 23 kHz
"L" - low frequency sound appr. 17 kHz
5. Test button: used to check whether the signal is being emitted
6. LED indicator: the LED indicator lights up if the high frequency or ultrasonic sound
is being emitted
7. 12 V DC input: input for the connection of the 12 V DC output of an AC adaptor
230 V AC / 12 V DC 500 mA with 5.5 mm jack.
8. 6 V battery input: input for connecting the plug from the battery case
