• Ensure that no part is loose or missing and that no part is jammed.
• When the tool is not in use, disconnect it from the air supply, clean it and afterwards store it in a safe and dry place not accessible to children.
• When temperatures are below freezing, keep the tool as warm as possible using any safe, convenient method.
STORAGE
• Apply an ample amount of lubrication before storing the tool.
• Run the tool for approximately 30 seconds after lubricating, in order to ensure that the lubricant is uniformly distributed throughout the tool.
• Store the tool in a clean and dry place.
TROUBLESHOOTING
• If any of the following problems appear while the tool is in use, turn it off and disconnect it from the air supply immediately. Failure to heed this warning will
result in serious personal injury.
• Disconnect the tool from the air supply before making any adjustments.
Problem
The tool runs at normal speed but loses
speed under load
The tool runs slowly. Air flows slightly from
exhaust
The tool does not work. Air flows normally
from exhaust
The tool will not shut off
Note: Repairs should only be carried out by a qualified person.
Possible cause
1. Motor parts are worn.
2. The clutch is worn or sticking due to lack of
lubricant.
1. Motor parts jammed with dirt particles.
2. Power regulator is in the closed position.
3. Dirt is blocking the air flow.
1. One or more motor vanes stuck due to
material build up.
1. O-rings in the throttle valve are dislodged
from the seat inlet valve.

Solution
1. Lubricate the clutch housing.
2. Check for excess clutch oil. Clutch cases need only
be half full. Overfilling can cause drag on high speed
clutch parts.
Grease lubrication: Heat usually indicates insufficient
grease in chamber.
1. Check air inlet filter for blockage.
2. Pour air tool lubricating oil into air inlet as per
instructions.
3. Repeat above as needed.
1. Pour air tool lubricating oil into air inlet.
2. Tap motor housing gently with plastic mallet.
1. Replace O-rings or send the tool to a service center
for repairs.
