Recommendations:
If you wish to winter precious plants in your greenhouse, we recommend the installation of
a second heating source, which substitutes this heating in case of failure (e.g. by power
failure). In this manner you prevent your plants from freezing.
Note: With the first start-up smoke or a smell could be present. There is no cause for
alarm as this only indicates that a drop of oil fell on the heating coil during the
manufacturing phase. This will evaporate and should not occur again.
Safety characteristics
Temperature-controlled cut-off protection:
With overheating, the temperature-controlled automatic cut-off will cause the device to be
temporarily switched off. In order to turn the device on again, switch it off completely and
allow the heater to cool down for 5 to 10 minutes. The device may also be automatically
shut off if the blow and/or suction opening is blocked. If this is the case please remove the
items concerned.
It could, however, indicate that the ventilator is broken. If this is the case switch the heater
off, remove the plug and contact an authorized specialist for repairs.
5. Cleaning and maintenance
•
Always remove the cable from the plug socket when you clean the heater.
•
Accumulated dust can easily be removed from the casing with a soft cloth or a vacuum
cleaner using the brush accessories. Dust on the inside can often be removed with the
help of the vacuum cleaner using its blow setting with the nozzle.
•
Wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater occasionally with a damp cloth (not dripping
wet) using a solution of mild cleaning agent and water. Carefully dry the casing with a
soft cloth before using the heater. WARNING: Do not let water run inside the heater –
this could cause a fire or short-circuit.

Never dip the device in water. Mortal danger!
•
No further maintenance by the user is necessary or recommended. Send your heater
to the nearest certified service station when maintenance is required.

Protect the device from dust and dirt if it is not to be used for a period of time
6. Disposal and repair
•
This product contains re-usable materials. Do not remove this product
with the general household rubbish. Please refer to your local council for
information regarding your nearest collection point.

Repairs to the device are only to be carried out by authorized specialists.
Please contact the manufacturer or the distributor.
•

•
Faulty repairs represent a danger for the user and other persons.
