4. Operation
Connect the equipment to a plug socket with 230 V ~ 50/60 Hz Ac voltage. The
ARKANSAS heater is equipped with a selector switch (4 settings) and a thermostat
(control range 0-40 ° C).
Selector switch:

Thermostat:
The thermostat is on a continual linear scale of 0 40 ° C.
This means that each ascending number represents an
approx. 4 ° C rise in temperature .

Winter operation:
Set the thermostat at the maximum setting and select the required heat output. When the
desired ambient temperature is reached, turn the thermostat in a clockwise direction until
the heater switches itself off. The thermostat will continue to maintain the selected
temperature and when the temperature falls below this temperature the heating function
will restart. Depending on the size of the greenhouse a heat output of 3000 Watts is
recommended during the winter months. The smaller 1500 Watts output is, however,
sufficient in the transition periods.
Summer operation:
If you would like to ventilate your greenhouse during the summer months or promote plant
dusting, select the ventilation mode. Turn the thermostat to 10.
