3. Safety and hazard warnings
Only a 230 V ~, 50/60 Hz public supply mains power socket may be used. Do not use
the equipment with any other voltage.
Contact a specialist if you have doubts regarding the function, the safety or the
connection of the equipment.
This equipment may be used only in an internal area.
The equipment must be disconnected from the mains power when opening the cover
or removing parts
Do not insert or remove the mains plug with wet hands.
Do not pull on the mains. Only ever pull on the grasp surfaces of the mains plug from
the socket.
Do not keep or use inflammable materials or sprays in the proximity of the equipment.
Fire risk!
Do not use the device in an easily flammable atmosphere (e.g. in close proximity to
gaseous fuel or spray-bottles). Risk of explosion or fire!
Do not cover the heater. Fire risk!
Do not install the device in close proximity to taps, wash basins or other water sources.
Do not connect your heater to a power source if the surface of the heater is damp.
Do not put anything into the openings of the equipment. Danger of injury, electrical
shock or damage to the equipment!
The casing of the device will heat up during use. Install the device in such a manner as
to avoid accidental contact. Danger of burning! The equipment will slowly cool down
after it is switched off. Use only the appropriate carrying frame when transporting.
Do not dry inflammable items in front of the blow-out ports. Fire risk!
Ensure that the connecting cable is not squashed or damaged by sharp edges during
assembly. If the surface of the connecting cable has been damaged the device must
not be attached to the public supply mains. Danger!
Always remove the power supply plug from the plug socket before cleaning the device.
Clean with a dry cloth only.
Always remove the power supply plug if the device is not to be used for a longer period
of time. Store your heater in a protected and dry place during this period.
If the device can no longer be used safely ensure that it is rendered inoperative and
ensure against any further unintentional use. This is the case if:
- the device or mains are visibly damaged
- the device no longer functions
- after longer storage under unfavorable conditions
- after heavy transport damage
Mains operated devices should not be handled by children.
The equipment is not suitable for use in cattle breeding areas.
These operating instructions are an inherent component of the equipment and should
be carefully stored. If the equipment is given to a third party it must be accompanied by
these operating instructions.
