Cleaning the Sediment Cup
Attention! Petrol is highly flammable and
explosive. Be very careful when handling
with petrol.
1. Close the gas cock (6) by pushing
completely to the left.
2. Unscrew the sediment cup (D) and
remove the O-ring.
3. Wash both parts thoroughly in non-
flammable
solvent
thoroughly. Reattach the sediment cup
and the O-ring in reverse order.
4. Open the gas cock and check for leaks.
If fuel is leaking, replace the O-ring.
Draining the Fuel Tank
1. Close the gas cock (6).
2. Place a large container with funnel
below the carburettor (E) in order to
collect the fuel.
3. Unscrew the carburettor drain bolt (F)
and the washer.
4. Unscrew the sediment cup (D) and the
O-ring.
5. Now open the gas cock (6).
6. Wait until all fuel has drain into the
container. Reinstall the carburettor
drain bolt and the sediment cup in reverse order and tighten all parts
securely.
Adjusting the Cable Pull
The tension of the cable pull (16) is correctly adjusted when the actuator lever
(17) can be effortlessly pulled towards the push bar. Only in this position the
rotating auger must rotate.
If the actuator lever is not engaged, the rotating auger must not turn. If the
cable pull is tensioned too much, loosen the lock nut and readjust the cable
pull. Re-tighten the lock not after adjusting the tension.
