2. When closing the tank cap make sure the
inside tank filter is positioned correctly (see
red circles in the picture), otherwise the
tank cap cannot be screwed on.
If fuel is spilled, immediately wipe off and
start the engine at least 3 m away from the
fuel point.
Before Operation
Before each operation make sure the snow
thrower contains enough engine oil and fuel.
Make sure the spark plug cable (A) is securely
fixed on the spark plug.
Starting the Engine
1. Move the throttle lever (4) in direction to the
rabbit symbol (
2. Open the gas cock (6) by turning completely
to the right.
3. When starting the cold engine for the first
time, push the choke (5) completely to the
left (in direction to the arrow).
4. Switch the ON/OFF switch (8) to the position
ON.
5. First pull the recoil starter (7) slowly until a
resistance is felt and than rapidly pull
upwards. When releasing the recoil starter
make sure it does not whip back to the
housing.
When staring a cold engine for the first time, it
might be necessary to pull the recoil starter 15 –
20 times, so engine oil and fuel can be evenly
distributed.
For re-starting a warm engine, push the choke
completely to the right.
After starting the engine, push the choke very slowly back in position. At
temperatures below 5°C wait approx 1 minute and at temperatures above 5°C
you can push back the choke after some seconds.
