Choice of chimneys
For dimensioning the chimney according to DIN 4705 the following data is applicable:
Nominal heating power
Flue gas flow (m)
Average flue gas temperature behind the flue connection
The lowest chimney under-pressure [p] with nominal heating power
The lowest chimney under-pressure [p] with 0,8 of the nominal heating power
To recapitulate
While firing the stove use only fuel quantity corresponding to the required heating power at the
particular moment.
Having added the fuel, open the air flow regulator enough to secure the spreading of the fire in
the furnace. After that place the regulator in the position corresponding to the desired heating
power.
Fully comply with the technical instructions.
Place the stove in the corresponding-sized room in order to match the nominal heating power
of the stove.
Try avoiding the minimal power use. Leave the air flow regulator open enough overnight in
order to have enough basic coals in the morning so as to facilitate the new fire. Secure enough
dry and small chopped wood.
