The sub-base gives the operator greater visibility of the workpiece during laminate trimming operations. The woodworking sub-base accessory with handles is con- venient when routing 4 in., 5 in., or 6 in. circular grooves. It can also be used when routing grooves parallel to the edge of the workpiece or with ball-bearing piloted bits.
