  • Page 2 Einleitung Das Ringschleifensystem LA-240 bietet eine praktische Lösung für Träger von Hörsystemen, die einen einfacheren Zugang zu ihrem Fernseher oder ihrer Musikanlage über die T-Spulenfunktion ihres Hörsystems wünschen. Die kabellose Übertragung zwischen dem Zuhörer und der Fernseh- oder Musikanlage ermöglicht freie Bewegung und bequemes Zuhören innerhalb des Schleifenraumes, ohne störende Nebengeräusche.

    Produktübersicht Der durch einen Mikroprozessor gesteuerte LA-240 ist ein Ringschleifenverstärker mit her- vorragender Klangqualität, für den Gebrauch mit modernen Audio- und Videogeräten um de- ren Klang direkt und ungestört in Ihr Hörsystem zu bringen. Um ein Ringschleifensystem nutzen zu können, muss Ihr Hörsystem auf „T” oder „MT“ ge- stellt sein.

    Lieferumfang Das Ringschleifensystem wird mit den folgenden Teilen geliefert, sodass das Gerät sofort betrieben werden kann: • Ringschleifenverstärker LA-240 mit Sockel • Netzteil mit Zuleitung und Netzanschluss • Optisches TOSlink-Kabel • Kabelsatz für Analog-Audio: 1.2m Cinch – Cinchkabel, SCART/Cinch-Adapter und 3.5mm Stereoklinke zu Cinch-Adapter • 40m Ringschleifenkabel und 1 Pack mit 50 stk.
  • Page 6 Anschluss des Schleifenkabels bzw. des Ringschleifenkissens Beim Drücken der Tasten der Schleifenanschlüsse (11) wird eine Öff- nung freigegeben. Stecken Sie das blanke Kabelende in die Öffnung und lassen Sie die Taste los. Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich das blanke Kabelende und nicht dessen Isolierung in der Öffnung befindet.     Stromversorgung Stecken Sie die Zuleitung des Netzteils in die Buchse (10) auf der Rückseite des LA-240. Stecken Sie den Netzanschluss in eine Steckdose. Der LA-240 kann auch direkt mit 12V oder 24 V Gleichstromversorgung betrieben werden, wie sie zum Beispiel in Reisebussen vorhanden ist. Inbetriebnahme Bei erster Verbindung mit der Stromversorgung leuchtet der Hauptschalter (8) blau und das Gerät ist eingeschaltet.

Bei niedrigen Pegeln flackert das Licht, bei höheren Lautstärken leuchtet das Licht konstant. Das System kann mit Hilfe eines Mikrofons getestet werden: Sehen Sie das Licht leuchten während Sie in das Mikrofon sprechen zeigt dies eine funktionierende Ringschleifenübertragung an.

    Introduction The LA-240 Loop System provides a practical solution for hearing aid users to listen more easily to their TV or Audio equipment via the “T” or “Loop” facility of their hearing aid. With no direct connection between the user and a TV or Audio equipment the user is able to move freely within the looped area and listen comfortably to a TV or audio equipment without the distractions of normal listening.

    Product Overview An enhanced microprocessor controlled loop amplifier with outstanding sound quality desi- gned to be used with modern audio and video products to transmit the sound direct to your hearing aid. Your hearing aid must be switched to the “T” or Loop function to use the loop system.
  • Page 15 Setting Up • The loop system is supplied ready for use with the following items • Loop Amplifier with stand. • Power Supply with lead and Mains lead with fitted plug. • Digital audio optical TOSlink lead. • Analogue audio lead kit : 1.2m phono – phono lead, SCART to RCA adaptor and 3.5mm stereo jack to RCA adaptor.
  • Page 16 Connect Loop Cable or Loop Pad to the amplifier When the loop cable connector (11) buttons are pushed in a hole will appear. Push the bare wire into the hole. Ensure that only the bare wire and not the plastic insulation goes into the hole, then release the button to lock the cable in place.
  • Page 17 Power Plug the power supply lead into the socket (10) on the rear of the amplifier. Connect the mains lead to the power supply and then plug into a mains outlet. Switch on the power at the outlet. This amplifier may also be used with DC power supplies directly connected to the amplifier such as those found in buses and coaches.

    Alimentation Brancher le cordon de raccordement dans la fiche (10) à l’arrière du LA-240. Relier le câble d’alimentation dans une prise de courant. Le LA-240 peut également être directement utilisé avec une alimentation en courant continu de 12 ou 24 V comme on en trouve dans les bus et les autocars. MISE EN SERVICE Lors de la première mise sous tension de l’amplificateur, le bouton d’alimentation (8) s’illu- minera en bleu et l’amplificateur sera allumé.

Lorsque le niveau du signal est faible le voyant clignote, il restera allumé avec des volumes plus puissants. Le système peut être testé en parlant dans un microphone, le voyant en s’illuminant indiquera que la transmission par la boucle magnétique fonctionne correctement.
