Safety precautions
▪ The device should be connected only to earthed wall sockets that have been installed in accordance
with the regulations. Keep the power cable and plug dry at all times.
▪ Do not pull or clamp the connection cable over sharp edges. Do not leave it dangling. Protect it
from heat and oil.
▪ Do not place the appliance on hot surfaces, such as on hotplates or similar areas, and do not
operate near naked flames.
▪ Never pull the mains plug out of the socket by the cable or with wet hands.
▪ Do not switch on the appliance when the mixing container is empty.
▪ Ensure that the blade unit is attached firmly and the lid is fastened correctly to the mixing
container before using the appliance. Always operate the appliance with the lid closed.
Always wait for the blades to come to a standstill before removing the lid and/or the mixing
container.
▪ Always check that the lid is also connected at the angled pouring corner.
▪ The appliance must not be operated unsupervised.
▪ Never place objects into the mixing container whilst the appliance is running.
▪ Do not reach into the jug before unplugging the appliance from the mains.
▪ Always turn the selector to the "off" position (0) before removing the mixing container.
▪ Do not fill the mixing container to beyond the MAX mark (hot foods should not be added beyond
halfway to the MAX mark).
▪ Do not exceed the processing times listed in the relevant table.
▪ Never run the appliance for more than 4 minutes without interruption. Allow the appliance to cool
down at room temperature before continuing.
▪ Caution! There is a risk of scalding when processing hot food. In extreme cases, the mixing
container could become damaged. Only food with a maximum temperature of 60°C may be
processed. When processing hot food or ingredients that could foam, do not fill the mixing
container more than halfway to the top and hold the lid down firmly on the jug with your hand
during operation.
▪ Care should be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the jug and during
cleaning.
▪ The appliance must be switched off and disconnected from the mains before accessories or
additional parts that move during operation are replaced.
▪ Stop using the device and/or pull the mains plug out of the socket immediately if:

The device or power cord is damaged.

You suspect that the appliance may be defective after being dropped or a similar incident.
In such cases, return the appliance to be repaired.
▪ The blender may not be connected to an external switch, e.g. a timer or a circuit that
regularly switches on and off.

▪ Do not immerse the drive unit in water.
▪ No liability shall be accepted for any damage resulting from misuse, incorrect operation or
improper repairs. Warranty claims will be deemed invalid in such cases.
