breakdowns and solutions
In case of a breakdown, you must:
• switch off the working parts of the cooker;
• disconnect the power supply;
• apply for a repair;
• some small problems can be resolved by the user himself, using the instructions in the table below. Check all points in the
table in sequence, before contacting the maintenance or customer service.
Breakdown (code)
The cooker does not work.
The lighting in the oven does
not work.
A cooking zone switches off
automatically and the display
shows [ H ].
The cooker does not respond
and a short beep sound can
be heard.
The entire cooker switches off.
The residual heat indicator is
not shown, while the cooking
zone is hot.
The glass plate of the cooking
section is cracked.
The cooking section makes
a scratching noise.
The cooking section makes
a whistling noise.

Cause
No power supply.
The lamp is loose or defective.
The maximum cooking time has
been reached.
The child lock/key lock is activated. Switch off the child lock/key lock.
After switching on, no value was
entered within 10 seconds.
There is something on the touch
control(s) or they are dirty.
No power supply or a short
interruption of the power supply.
Hazard! Switch off the power supply and remove the plug of the appliance. Contact the
Inventum service department.
This is a normal noise. The cooling fan of the electrical parts is working.
This is a normal noise. In accordance with the function frequency of the induction coils during
the use of a number of cooking zone, the cooking section makes a light whistling noise at
maximum power.
The cooking section is
overheated.
What to do
Check the fuse in the distribution cabinet, replace a burnt
fuse if necessary.
Fasten the lamp or replace the defective lamp (see section
Cleaning and Maintenance).
Switch on the cooking zone again.
Switch on the cooking section and set a cooking zone.
Make the touch controls free or clean them.
Check that the power supply is restored and switch the
cooking section on and off.
Switch off the cooking section and allow the cooking zones
to cool down. Switch the cooking section on again and
check that the ventilation is running smoothly.
Check that the pan meets the requirements stated in
section 6.
