cleaning and maintenance
Cleaning and maintenance of the cooker has a major effect on life span and trouble-free operation. The cooker should not
be cleaned with a steam cleaner or high pressure cleaner.
Switch off the cooker prior to cleaning. Make sure that all rotary buttons are in the off position [ / 0 ]. The oven
should only be cleaned once it is cooled down.
CLEANING THE COOKING SECTION
Allow all cooking zones to cool down before cleaning the cooking section and remove the plug from the socket before
you start.
• When cleaning the surface of the cooking section, do not use aggressive abrasive cleaning agents, spray cans or
sharp objects that have not been developed for this purpose.
• Clean the surface of the cooking section daily with a damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent, such as a washing-up liquid.
Dry properly with paper towels or a dry tea towel.
• Boiled over food can be removed by soaking it with a damp cloth and a little bit of washing-up liquid, or you can use a glass
scraper. Caution: the glass scraper is sharp. Keep it away from children.
• Use a special cleaning agent for ceramic/induction cookers in case of stubborn stains. Caution: observe the instructions
on the packaging.
CLEANING THE OVEN
The oven must be cleaned after every use. When cleaning, switch on the oven lighting, so that you have a better view in the
oven chamber.
The interior of the oven must only be cleaned with warm water and a little bit of washing-up liquid.
The oven can also be cleaned by means of steam:
• Place an oven dish with 250 ml (1 glass) of water on a baking tray at the first level in the bottom of the oven.
• Close the door of the oven.
• Set the oven temperature to 50°C and set the oven mode to heating from below
• Heat the oven in this position for 30 minutes.
• Open the door of the oven and wipe clean the interior of the oven with a cloth or a soft sponge. Then clean the
interior of the oven with a dry cloth or sponge and warm water and a little bit of washing-up liquid.
• Properly wipe the interior of the oven dry.
• Do not use aggressive, abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects to clean the oven and the oven door.
ACCESSORIES
Clean the separate accessories in the same way as the baking tray and grill by means of warm water and washing-up liquid.
Properly dry everything before using it again.
REPLACING THE OVEN LAMP
In order to avoid an electric shock, fully switch off the cooker by removing the plug from the socket and
unscrewing the fuse in the distribution board.
• Loosen the glass protective cover by turning it anti-clockwise. Clean it and dry it properly.
• Replace the oven lamp with a similar lamp (25 W, 230V, E14 fitting and suitable for high temperatures
- up to 300°C).
• Fasten the glass protective cover.
• Insert the plug in the socket or screw the fuse in the distribution cabinet.
