Relative mode (REL)
The relative measurement feature allows you to make measurements relative to
a stored reference value. A reference voltage (current, etc.) can be stored and
following measurements can be compared to this value. The displayed value is
the difference between the reference and the measured value.
1.
Perform the measurement as described above.
2.
Press REL (2.3) to store the measured value as the reference value and the
"REL" indicator appears on the display.
3.
For further measurements, the device now displays the current value minus
the reference value.
4.
To exit the relative value function, press the REL key again.
Maximum/Minimum value
This function allows the reading of maximum or minimum values with fluctuating
measurement results. It is not available at frequency, duty, continuity test and
diode test.
1.
Press the MAX/MIN button (2.6) until the desired symbol appears on the
display. (MAX, MIN or MAX-MIN)
2.
Perform the measurement. The maximum/minimum value is displayed.
3.
To return to normal mode, press the MAX/MIN button 2 seconds
Data hold (keep displayed value)
If the reading could not be read during measurement due to difficult operation
the „HOLD"-button could be pressed to freeze the display reading.
1. Press the HOLD-button (2.7) to freeze the display reading.
2. The display shows the „HOLD"-symbol to indicate the activated HOLD function.
3. Press the „HOLD"-button again to return to standard operation.
Backlight
To turn the backlight on or off, press for 2 seconds the button (2.7).
After 15 seconds, the backlight switches off automatically.
