Bearing replacement intervals
The motor and fan unit has two bearings, one in the upper part of the motor and one in the
lower part of the fan. These are to be replaced after approximately 20,000 hours of operation.
If working temperatures regularly reaches 40 °C (104 °F), this is to be reduced to 15,000 hours.
In any case, the bearings are to be replaced every 5 years. See the fan manual for more
information about bearing and grease types.
The bearings are a standard type. Contact Nederman or an authorized Nederman distributor
for replacement of the bearings.
Old grease is to be removed and new grease used. The grease is to meet the DIN 51825-K2N
40, SKF LGHP 2 or FAG Arcanol Multitop standards.

Installation, repair and maintenance work is to be carried out by qualified personnel using only
original Nederman spare parts. Contact your nearest authorized distributor or Nederman for
advice on technical service.

Recycling
The product has been designed for component materials to be recycled. Its different material
types are to be handled according to relevant local regulations. Contact the distributor or
Nederman with any queries about scrapping the product at the end of its service life.
