UK │ 8. Mounting
2. Align housing horizontally and mark the
tw o dow el holes (arrow s).
3. Remove housing [1], drill M6 dow el holes
w ith a Ø of 6 mm and insert dow els.
4. Push cable grommet [9] carefully out of
housing and remove.
Danger of short-circuits and

dam age to the unit. Water w ill
penetrate if the pow er cable is
incorrectly fed into the fan
housing or if the cable
grom m et is not fitted
correctly.
Cut off cable grommet cap [9]
such that the cable grommet fits
tightly round the pow er cable.
Cut a minimum
of 5 mm off the cap (pow er cable
can bend better and electronics
cover [6] can be positioned
correctly).
Fit cable grommet [9] correctly,
seal on both sides if required.
5. Insert cable grommet [9] into housing.
Feed power cable into the
connection area such that the cable
grommet fits around the cable
sheathing completely and does not
penetrate too far into the connecting
area.
6. Lead sensor connection cable, from the
external climate sensor [12], into the hole
provided ( arrow ) in the fan housing [1].

7. Insert housing [1] into w all breakthrough/
w all sleeve and secure w ith tw o screw s.
Do not insert the housing such that it is
tw isted or crushed. Make sure you use
mounting material w hich is sized for the
purpose.
8. Lay sensor connection cable [12] in the
provided recesses (I, II) and plug it [A] into
the electronic circuit board [7].
8.4 Electrical connection
Danger to life from electric
shock.
DANGER
Sw itch the mains fuse off.
Risk of dam age to unit in the
NOTICE
event of short-circuits.
Insulate PE conductor and
individual cable cores that are not
required.
1. Only lay single cable cores in the unit. To
do this, remove pow er cable sheathing
over a length of 70mm. Strip single cable
cores to 9 to 10 mm.
2. Electrically connect pow er cable to spring
clip [13] according to connection w iring
diagram [14], also see w iring diagram in
Chapter 14.
