3. Remove the electronics cover [6]. Unlock
locking hook ( arrow ) w ith screw driver.
4. Fit supplied sealing strip centred in
socket..
The sealing strip m ust be fitted to
AKE100 so that the units do not draw
in any unw anted air from outside.

8. Mounting

When installing the FE 100/1 w indow
installation kit or the ECA-DR
spacing frame,  associated
mounting instructions.

8.1 Installation of external cover

1. Insert housing for external cover [10] in
w all breakthrough/w all sleeve.
2. Align housing horizontally and mark the
dow el holes.
3. Remove housing [10], drill M6 dow el holes
w ith a Ø of 6 mm and insert dow els.
4. Insert sensor connection cable [12]
through the opening on the external cover
in w all breakthrough/w all sleeve.
5. Press shutter [11] into housing until it
engages.
8.2 Attachment of the sensor
connection cable
1. Pull the sensor connection cable [12]
through the w all breakthrough/w all sleeve.
2. Attach the sensor connection cable, w ith
adhesive tape, to the underside of the w all
breakthrough/w all sleeve if possible.
A maximum of 10 cm is needed in
the fan housing for the connection to
the control electronics.

8.3 Fan housing installation

1. Insert housing [1] into w all
breakthrough/w all sleeve (TOP must be at
top).
