To Dry Iron
1. Plug in iron.
2. Turn Adjustable Steam to the Dry Iron position.
3. Set Temperature Selector to desired temperature. With iron
in an upright position, allow 3 minutes for iron to reach
desired temperature. Do not preheat iron with soleplate
facing down.
4. To turn iron off, set Temperature Control to OFF ( O ). The
iron may be turned off by pressing the Temperature Setting
Button for 3 seconds.
To Steam Iron
1. Unplug iron. Open water tank fill cover. Using a cup, slowly
pour 6 ounces (

cup) of tap water into the water tank

opening. Close water tank fill cover.

3. Set Temperature Selector to desired setting in steam
range. With iron in an upright position, allow 3 minutes for
iron to reach desired temperature. Do not preheat iron with
soleplate facing down.

4. Set Adjustable Steam to desired steam output.
5. To turn iron off, turn Adjustable Steam to Dry Iron.
Set Temperature Control to OFF ( O ). The iron may be
turned off by pressing the Temperature Setting Button for 3

6. Empty water from the iron following directions in "Caring
for Your Iron and Soleplate."
Water
Please use ordinary tap water. If you have extremely hard
water, alternate between tap water and distilled water for
use in the iron.
