5 Applique Placement
While using the handling tabs align the Bumper Applique into
position.This allows the part to float on the surface until proper
fit is achieved. Locate center notch in the applique directly under
the notches in bumper and align as shown above.

**Confirm that the rear bumper appliqué does not obstruct any of
the Reverse Automatic Braking sensors.
Use caution not to scratch the paint surface with the squeegee.
Firmly squeegee over the corner edge of the bumper in the
direction shown. Then, continue squeegeeing down past
corner edge.
9 Inspect Applique
If bubbles are present after premask carrier removal, wrap a towel around the
squeegee and carefully attempt to push the bubble to the side of the Bumper
Applique. If the bubble cannot be moved, use a sewing needle to pierce the
bubble and press the remaining solution from beneath the Bumper Applique.

6 Squeegee Applique
Use caution not to scratch the paint surface with the squeegee.
Spray top surface of premask with an even mist of Application
Solution. Using smooth even overlapping strokes to squeegee the
Bumper Applique into position. Do not wrap the edge at this time.

Remove Premask
Carefully remove the premask from the Bumper Applique by slowly
lifting and pulling backward at an 180º angle as shown.
