Loading the Tool with Nails (FIG. D)
• Ensure the tool is switched off and unplugged from the charger.
• Turn the tool so the magazine (8) is facing upwards.
• Squeeze magazine release (7) and slide the magazine out.
• Tilt the tool and place the nails along the left edge of the magazine
with the sharp edge pointing upwards.
• Push the magazine back until it locks into position.
NOTE: Do not load fasteners of different lengths together. Do not load
staples and nails mixed together.
NOTE: We strongly recommend that you only use approved/genuine
Tacwise staples and nails.
Unloading the Tool
• Ensure the tool is switched off.
• Turn the tool so the magazine (8) is facing upwards.
• Squeeze magazine release (7) and slide the magazine out.
• Remove the staple/nail strip from the magazine.
NOTE: Use caution when sliding the magazine back to close. Do not use
excessive force. Otherwise, the magazine slider could become damaged
and there is danger of your fingers being caught, or pinched.
Using the Tool
• Ensure the tool is loaded correctly.
• Turn the tool on at the on/off switch (6).
• Hold the handle of the power tool firmly with magazine at 90° angle
to the work piece.
• Press the safety contact nose (10) into the work piece.
• Squeeze the trigger (2).
• Release the trigger once the staple/nail has been fired.
• Lift the safety contact nose from the work piece.
• Turn the tool off at the on/off switch (6).
The tool has two driving modes:
• Put the nose on the working surface, lightly push the tool toward the
working surface until the safety contact nose is depressed, then,
depress the trigger to drive the fasteners.
• First, depress the trigger, then, repeatedly impact the safety contact
nose, the tool can repeatedly drive the fasteners. The tool will drive
one fastener when the nose is depressed.
NOTE: The staple/nail gun will not fire staples/nails unless the safety
contact nose is depressed. Do not keep the trigger depressed when the
power tool is not in use to prevent accidental firing.
