MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar
B 4 M12 x 35 x 1.75mm Bolts, Lock Washers and Nuts
C 4 M10 x 1.5mm pitch Nuts, Flat Washers and Lock Washers
D 2 Captive Bolt Strap
E 2 Side Arm
F 1 M12 x 35 x 1.75mm Bolt, Lock Washer and Nut
ZE 1 Electrical Plate
FITTING
1 Remove bumper (3 wheel arch screws & 1 behind fibre wheel arch, each side, 4 screws along bottom edge, 1 screw
either side of boot opening. Pull bumper tips out sideways to release from clips then pull bumper rearwards. Un-plug
fog lights)
2 Remove bumper beam and towing eye bracket. Insert Side Arms (E) into chassis and secure to vehicle with Captive
Bolt Straps (D) and fasteners (C).
3 Re-fit towing eye bracket using the original fasteners and fully tighten.
4 Loosely attach Cross Bar (A) to Side Arms (E) using fasteners (B).
5 Fully Tighten all bolts.
6 Attach the chosen neck assembly to Cross Bar (A) using fasteners supplied in the neck kit.
7 Attach Electrical Plate (ZE) to the forward-most lower hole using fasteners (F)
8 Cut bumper as shown and Re-fit to vehicle.
For use with either
F132 Flange neck option – ZF3020. Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class
A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
F132Q Detachable neck option – ZQ3020. Please refer to ZQ fitting instructions for installation
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
GRADE 10.9: M12 – 139Nm
