HARD DRIVE REPLACEMENT KIT
3. Unplug the white connector for the red/black/black/yellow wire group that connects the hard drive to the power
supply.
4. Use the ribbon cable to gently pull the hard drive out of the housing until you can grasp it. Then unplug the ribbon
cable.
5. Slide the hard drive completely out of the housing.
6. With the printed circuit board and ribbon cable toward the bottom (on the side closest to the rear door), slide the
new hard drive into the housing.
7. Plug in the ribbon cable and the power cable.
8. Make sure all wires are tucked out of the way so that they will not get pinched by the door, then close the door.
9. Install the 4 screws in the center of the rear door to hold the drive in place and then install the 12 perimeter screws
that secure the back door.
Restore any saved files
1. Reconnect the electrical power and turn ON the Edge Ti.
2. Touch the Setups softkey on the touchscreen.
3. Touch the Password softkey.
4. Enter 6931 (or the password provided by your system administrator) on the password screen.
5. Touch the Load Setups softkey.
6. Choose the location where the setup files are located from the Load Setups From drop-down menu.
7. Touch OK.
8. Touch the name of the file you want to load and touch OK.
Note: You may get a message stating that the settings are corrupt and default values are being used. If you do,
simply touch OK. This is a normal message and it does not affect any of the core machine settings.
